George Clooney Malaria Scare

george clooney malaria sudanGeorge Clooney no longer has malaria after contracting the disease while visiting Sudan in December. Clooney was working with the UN to prevent another civil war.

A statement from Clooney's reps says the actor's swift recovery shows that 'with proper medication, the most lethal condition in Africa, can be reduced to bad ten days instead of a death sentence.'

In other celebrity health news, Kim Richards of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' entered rehab after a boozy brawl with sister/co-star Kyle in the back of a limo during the show's season finale.

A note at the end of the episode said Kim was checked into rehab by her family after the episode and checked herself out a week later. The sisters have not spoken.
