Free Starbucks Birthday Treats

Starbucks is turning 40 years old and to celebrate, the coffee giant is gifting customers with free petite treats (with drink purchase) this Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Pair a cup o' joe with your choice of one free petite treat like a mini cupcake, whoopie pie, lemon square or cake pop. Instead of your usual Fair Trade Colombia Asoapia, try the new limited-time Tribute blend, made up of coffee beans from Ethiopia, Sumatra, Papua New Guinea, and Colombia. The 'tribute' is to customers: 'Here's to the last 40 years spent in our stores, in your homes, and in all of our communities--and to the next 40 years together. Cheers.'

As part of its birthday celebration, Starbucks is also rolling out a new logo that keeps the familiar double-tailed siren but gets rid of all text.
